U.S. Route 36 to narrow again at Route 33 in DeKalb County near Osborn

Part of resurfacing project on Route 33 delayed due to weather

St. Joseph, Mo – Weather has halted work on planned resurfacing where DeKalb County Route 33 joins U.S. Route 36 near Osborn. Crews will once again close the following two lanes of U.S. Route 36 on Wednesday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., to complete the remainder of the work.

  • The westbound driving lane (right lane) at the intersection with Route 33
  • The eastbound turn lane from U.S. Route 36 to Route 33

This work is part of a resurfacing project on Route 33 between Maysville and Osborn being completed by Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The resurfacing project on Route 33 is expected to continue through May 21.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
