St. Joseph, Mo. – In preparation for resurfacing, crews from Iowa Civil Contracting, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to close the ramps on Interstate 35 in Clinton County at U.S. Route 69 (Exit 48) on Monday, May 3, to mill pavement at the top and bottom of each ramp. Crews plan to close both the northbound and southbound on and off ramps at 7 a.m. and should have them reopened 5 p.m. During the closures, motorists will need to use an alternate route.
The ramps will close again during the resurfacing process, which could begin as early as Monday, May 10. The exact schedule has not yet been determined.
All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change.
