TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Lane Closings, Flashing Signals at Route 39/Prospect Street in Aurora May 5-12

Where: Missouri Route 39 (Elliott Ave.) at Prospect Street in Aurora

When: 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Wednesday-Wednesday, May 5-12

Why: Contractor crews will be replacing southbound traffic signal arm, mast and concrete signal base

Traffic Impacts:

  • Occasional lane closures on southbound Route 39 (Elliott Ave.) at Prospect St.
  • Signals in flashing mode ‘round the clock until work is complete
  • All lanes of Route 39 OPEN during nighttime hours and weekends
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes, no signed detours are planned
