Pavement repair to narrow two Caldwell County routes

St. Joseph, Mo. – Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will narrow two Caldwell County routes for pavement repair tomorrow, Thursday, April 29.

  • U.S. Route 36 – westbound from U.S. Business Route 36 to Lovely Ridge Road
  • Route D – westbound from Manson Road to Grandview Drive. Flaggers will be in place to guide motorists through the work zone.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention to all roadway signing and barricades. Show-Me Zero.

As part of National Work Zone Awareness Week, MoDOT is asking drivers to work with us this construction season. Always buckle up and keep your phone down, and slow down and move over in work zones. Know before you go, and check what work zones you might encounter at traveler.modot.org.
