U.S. Route 36 to narrow at Route 33 in DeKalb County near Osborn

Part of resurfacing project on Route 33

St. Joseph, Mo – Crews from Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, are currently resurfacing DeKalb County Route 33 between Maysville and Osborn. As part of that project, they plan to mill and resurface Route 33 where it joins U.S. Route 36 near Osborn.

In order to safely complete the work, on Monday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., crews will close two lanes of U.S. Route 36:

  • The westbound driving lane (right lane) at the intersection with Route 33
  • The eastbound turn lane from U.S. Route 36 to Route 33

The resurfacing project on Route 33 will continue through early to mid-May.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
