St. Joseph, Mo. – Local maintenance crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation have postponed two culvert replacements planned for this week in DeKalb County due to the forecast calling for rain.
- Route O, 1 mile west of Route N – was scheduled today. Now closing Thursday, April 29 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Route EE, 0.5 miles south of Route 6 – was scheduled for Friday. Now closing Monday, May 3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. During the closures, motorists will need to use an alternate route.
All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all work zones are No Phone zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Show-Me Zero. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work.
As part of National Work Zone Awareness Week, MoDOT is asking drivers to work with us this construction season. Always buckle up and keep your phone down, and slow down and move over in work zones. Know before you go, and check what work zones you might encounter at traveler.modot.org.
