St. Joseph, Mo. – The ramp from 9th Street to eastbound U.S. Route 36 will close to all traffic Monday, May 3. The ramp will remain closed around-the-clock through Friday, May 14. Motorists must use an alternate route during the closure.
The ramp work is part of an ongoing construction project to repair and resurface U.S. Route 36 between the Missouri River and 0.75 miles east of Route AC, which is being led by contractors from Magruder Paving, LLC.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Show-Me Zero. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention to all roadway signing and barricades.
