St. Joseph, Mo. – The southbound Interstate 229 ramp to northbound I-29 (Exit 43) just south of St. Joseph is currently closed. The ramp was closed late Saturday, April 24, for environmental cleanup and roadway repairs following a vehicle crash.
The ramp will remain closed around-the-clock until further notice. Motorists must use an alternate route during the closure.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive alive. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention to all roadway signing and barricades.
