COLUMBIA – Repair work on a Columbia intersection will close access to West Boulevard for several days next week.
Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation will be making pavement improvements at the intersection of I-70 Drive Southwest and West Boulevard Monday, April 26 through Thursday, April 29. Work will take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
For the safety of motorists and workers on the road, this project will require the closure of one lane of I-70 Drive. Crews will flag I-70 Drive traffic through the work zone. Access to West Boulevard will also be closed at that intersection from 9 a.m. Monday until 5 p.m. on Thursday. Drivers will need to use an alternate route to access That roadway.
MoDOT says they appreciate the patience of travelers while this work takes place and encourage drivers to slow down, obey all traffic signs and give workers plenty of room to work.
