SIKESTON - U.S. Route 61 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is located from County Road 634 to County Road 728.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, April 27 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
