SIKESTON - Southbound Interstate 55 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane with a 16-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is located from mile marker 53 to mile marker 50, near La Forge, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, April 26 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
