Pavement Improvements to Close Lanes of Route 63

COLUMBIA – Travelers are advised to be on the lookout for crews working on U.S. Route 63 in northern Columbia early next week.

Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) maintenance crews will be making pavement repairs along northbound and southbound Route 63 between Brown Station Road and Wagon Trail Road. For the safety of motorists and workers on the road, one lane will be closed in each direction while work is taking place.

Work is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 19 and Tuesday, April 20.  Lane closures will be in place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

MoDOT appreciates the patience of travelers during the work. Drivers are asked to focus on the road, obey all traffic signs and allow plenty of room for crews to work.

This work is weather permitting and could be delayed. For more information and updates about this project or other transportation-related matters, please call 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636) or visit www.modot.org/central.
