Where/What: Elk St. CLOSED at the five-way intersection between Fairlawn Ave. (Missouri Route 571) and Maple Street in Carthage for construction of roundabout
When: Beginning week of April 19 through the end of the project
Traffic Impacts:
- Elk St. CLOSED between Fairlawn Ave. (Route 271) and Maple Street
- Elk Street and S. Garrison Ave. remain CLOSED west of Fairlawn
- No signed detours
- Drivers should find alternate route
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
Details: This work is part of a project to build a new roundabout at the five-way intersection of Elk Street/Fairlawn Ave./Garrison Ave. along with ADA improvements and resurfacing of Missouri Route 571 between Fairview Ave. and I-49.
