Traffic alert: Route 97/White Oak Creek Bridge CLOSED During Daytime Hours for Bridge Repair

Where: Missouri Route 97 bridge over White Oak Creek in Lawrence County south of Lockwood

When: 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesday, April 21 through Wednesday, May 5

What: Crews working to replace bridge joints

Traffic Impacts:

  • All Route 97 lanes CLOSED at either end of the bridge during daytime hours
  • All Route 97 lanes open at night and weekends
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zone
  • Drivers will have access to entrances at either end of the work zone, but will not be able to travel across the bridge
  • No signed detour
  • Drivers should find alternate route

(Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule)
