Utility work will narrow U.S. Route 169 (Belt Highway) in St. Joseph

St. Joseph, Mo – Communications utility work will impact traffic on U.S. Route 169 (Belt Highway) in Buchanan County beginning tomorrow. Sellenriek Construction will close the southbound right lane of the Belt Highway near Sherman Avenue tomorrow, Tuesday, April 13, and Wednesday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Drivers should stay alert and obey all traffic signs, barricades and flaggers to safely navigate through the work zone.

All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones and to not move or drive around barricades.
