MoDOT opens I-70 Cave Springs to Fairgrounds Design-Build project survey

ST. CHARLES COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation is asking the public to take the I-70 Cave Springs to Fairground Design-Build project survey.

In January, MoDOT shifted the timeline of the I-70 Cave Springs to Fairgrounds project to further evaluate significant public response. The additional time allowed MoDOT and St. Charles County officials the opportunity to review feedback and hear concerns from impacted businesses, elected officials, and the public.

The Design-Build team is looking for answers to the new survey pertaining to travel preference and primary use of the corridor. The project is in eastern St. Charles County of the St. Louis Region, on I-70. The limits of the project are from Fairgrounds Road – just west of the Blanchette Bridge – four miles west to Cave Springs Road. The Design-Build project will make improvements to increase safety, make the interchanges smoother to move through, and support local access.

The survey will close Friday, April 30 at 4 p.m.
