PLATTE COUNTY – Due to the potential for inclement weather, the Missouri Department of Transportation will adjust its work schedule regarding the Route 9 resurfacing project in Platte County.
Crews will close the Route 9 westbound to I-635 northbound ramp from 5:00 a.m. until noon, Saturday, April 10 for temporary pavement marking work, removal of guardrail and installation of a temporary barrier wall.
***If it rains Saturday, April 10, crews will attempt to perform the work Sunday, April 11. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
