St. Louis Work Zones for April 1-7

ST. LOUIS – This Saturday, drivers who often use the ramp between southbound Interstate 270 and westbound Interstate 44 may want to consider alternate options, as crews will have the ramp closed for concrete work.

Crews will close the ramp starting at 6 a.m. Saturday, April 2, and will reopen it by noon for the concrete work.

In addition, crews will close two lanes on eastbound I-44 near I-270 and one lane on the ramps to I-270 on Tuesday, April 6, starting at 7 p.m.  One eastbound lane and the ramp lane will reopen by 5 a.m.; the second  eastbound lane will remain closed until mid-May.

Crews remain on the roadway patching potholes and completing routine maintenance.  Motorists are reminded to slow down and move over when they see a MoDOT vehicle with flashing lights.  Also be aware that there could be three or more maintenance vehicles spaced out over some distance to complete maintenance work.

For more on roadway closures due to construction, additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real-time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com. All work is subject to change and may be shifted due to inclement weather.
