Sign Work to Close Ramp Overnight at Major Columbia Intersection

COLUMBIA – Northbound motorists along U.S. Route 63 are being advised that the exit ramp to the Interstate 70 Connector will be closed for several hours overnight.

Missouri Department of Transportation crews will conclude work to repair and install signs along the ramp beginning at 9 p.m. on Monday, March 29. The ramp is scheduled to be open by 1 a.m.

Those wanting to access Interstate 70 from northbound Route 63 will need to use an alternate route.  Message boards ahead of the work zones will warn motorists of the closures. MoDOT appreciates the patience of travelers while the work takes place.

Work is weather permitting and could be delayed. For more information about this project or other transportation-related matters, please call 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636) or visit www.modot.org/central. Follow the MoDOT Central Missouri District on Facebook or Twitter for project updates.
