PLATTE COUNTY – Due to the potential for inclement weather, the Missouri Department of Transportation has rescheduled sign work for I-29 in Platte County.
Crews will close one lane of southbound I-29 at North Oak Trafficway between 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 24 until 6:00 a.m. Thursday, March 25 for sign work. Originally, this work was scheduled to begin Tuesday, March 23. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
