PLATTE COUNTY – Due to the potential for inclement weather, the Missouri Department of Transportation has changed the work schedule for the resurfacing project along Route 9 in Platte County. All work is now scheduled to begin Tuesday, March 23. Originally, work was scheduled to commence Monday, March 22. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will intermittently close eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 9 between the I-635 overpass and Downtown Parkville from 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23 until 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 24

Crews will close the I-635 northbound ramp to Route 9 northbound from 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23 until 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 24

The ramps at I-635 and Route 9 will intermittently close but will immediately reopen as soon as the above lanes are clear.

They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
