SIKESTON - Southbound Interstate 55 in Scott County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge repairs.
This section of roadway is located from mile marker 89 to mile marker 85.
Weather permitting, work will begin Wednesday, March 31, with completion anticipated Friday, May 21.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
