Roadside Maintenance to Impact Travel on Route 21

WASHINGTON COUNTY – Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be closing one lane of Missouri Route 21 to traffic in Washington County next week for roadside maintenance.

MoDOT crews will be repairing ditches at the intersection of Route 21 and Racola Road, north of Potosi. The work will take place between Monday, March 15 and Thursday, March 18. One lane will be closed between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.

Flaggers will be in place to guide motorists through the area. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route around the work zone or to expect minor delays.

MoDOT says they appreciate the patience of travelers while this work takes place.

The work is weather permitting and could be delayed. For more information about this project or other transportation-related matters, please call 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636) or visit www.modot.org/central. Follow the MoDOT Central Missouri District on Facebook and Twitter for project updates.
