Where: Westbound Chestnut Expressway right lane closed between Eastgate Avenue and U.S. Route 65 in Springfield

When: Monday, March 15 – Friday, April 9

Details: Contractor crews will install storm drain pipes and widen Eastgate Avenue to Chestnut Expressway right turn lane

Traffic Impacts:

  • Westbound Chestnut Expressway right lane closed between Eastgate Avenue and U.S. Route 65
  • Westbound Chestnut Expressway left lane open
  • Route 65 northbound on ramp open
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • Drivers should look for alternate route
