Overnight Bridge Work to Impact Interstate 44 in Laclede County

LACLEDE COUNTY – Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to repair the decks of two bridges in eastern Laclede County next week.

Crews will make improvements to the deck of the Gasconade River Overflow Bridge along westbound Interstate 44 Sunday, March 14 through Tuesday, March 16. Similar improvements are also planned on the Gasconade River Bridge on eastbound I-44 on Wednesday, March 17.

One lane at a time will be closed in order to safely make the repairs. Crews plan to close lanes from  8 p.m. until 5 a.m. each night.

To help keep everyone on the road safe, drivers are advised to obey all traffic signs and give crews plenty of room to work. MoDOT appreciates the patience of motorists while the work takes place.

The work is weather permitting and could be delayed.
