This is all part of a multiple I-29 bridge replacement project. MoDOT will replace the I-29 over 56th St. Bridge and the I-29 and Waukomis Dr. Bridge. The overall goal of this project is to provide two new and safer bridges. The replacement of the Waukomis Drive Bridge will take place in 2022.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
