JACKSON COUNTY– MoDOT Kansas City will be conducting signage work along portions of northbound I-435 that will require various lane closures in the area. The work will be overnight and begin on Monday, March 8, until approximately Wednesday morning, March 10. Motorists should expect delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.
Monday, March 8
- Crews will close one lane as well as the shoulder of northbound I-435 just past the eastbound I-470 exit beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 8, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.
Tuesday, March 9
- Crews will close the left two lanes of northbound I-435 at the Blue Parkway exit beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.
- Crews will close the right two lanes of northbound I-435 at Eastwood Trafficway, as well as the ramp to Eastwood Trafficway, beginning at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
