Hermann Area Pavement Improvements Approved by MHTC

JEFFERSON CITY – Pavement improvements planned for two routes in Hermann have been approved by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC).

During its meeting on Wednesday, the MHTC awarded the project to Magruder Paving, LLC, which submitted the low bid of $471,641.79.

The project consists of installing new driving surfaces on Route 19, between the Missouri River Bridge and just south of Route H, and on Route 100, between Route 19 and just east of Reserve Street.

Most of the work will take place at night, with minimal daytime work as needed. Lane closures will be required during work hours.

This project is scheduled to begin in the spring and is expected to be complete by December. Prior to work starting, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
