MACON – Weather permitting, Monday, March 8, motorists will see projects begin on Missouri Route 6 and Sullivan County Routes D and FF in Green Castle that include American With Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements, curb and gutter improvements and some resurfacing. As a result of the work on Route FF, the contractor will need to close the road from Wilhite Street to MO 6. The closure is expected to last about one month. There will be no access to MO 6 from Route FF while the road is closed, so motorists will need to use alternate routes.
Crews will begin setting signs for the projects to notify motorists of the work. MO 6 and Route D will remain open to one lane traffic.
