MoDOT Releases Details Regarding 2021 Pulaski County Route T Bridge Rehabilitation Project

Public Invited to Comment Online thru March 12

PULASKI COUNTY - Information is now available regarding the rehabilitation of the Pulaski County Route T bridge over the Gasconade River between Swedeborg and Waynesville. The Missouri Department of Transportation is inviting nearby residents and travelers to share their thoughts.

The existing bridge over the Gasconade River was built in 1973 and is forty-nine years old. The condition of the bridge has reached a point where it is necessary to rehabilitate the bridge deck, make bridge barrier improvements, increase bridge pier protection, rehabilitate other bridge components, and improve roadway safety at both ends of the bridge.

During construction, Route T will have one lane closed at the bridge for approximately five months. Temporary signals will be in place to direct traffic. MoDOT will alert travelers and local residents of the closure ahead of time.

The work is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Motorists and area residents can ask questions or provide feedback on this project using the digital comment form at modot.org/PulaskiRouteTBridgeRehab. The online public comment period is open through March 12.
