MoDOT to delay Route M project in Jefferson County to address public input

JEFFERSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation is delaying the proposed project to add j-turns on Route M in Jefferson County to evaluate public input.

The project was to improve safety at the St. Luke's Church Road and Moss Hollow Road intersections on Route M. After a safety review process, it was determined that adding J-turns at these intersections would reduce the number of conflict points and lower the possibility for crashes.

MoDOT is delaying the project to work with business owners and residents to address concerns and further evaluate these intersections.
