JEFFERSON CITY - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded contracts for resurfacing several areas of Cole County.
The commission awarded contracts for pavement and guardrail improvements in the following areas:
- Route J between Route 50 and Fourth Street in Osage City.
- Route U between Route C and Lookout Trail.
- Route W between Route B and East Bend Road.
- Route Y between Route M and Big Meadows Road.
The contract was awarded to Blevins Asphalt Construction, which submitted the low bid of $560,000.
A start date for each project has not yet been established. MoDOT will alert the public with updates through signs, news releases and social media.
