TRAFFIC ALER: Lawrence County Route UU CLOSED Feb. 4 for Pipe Work

Where: Lawrence County Route UU between County Road 2030 and County Road 2040 north of Phelps

When: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 4

What: Route UU CLOSED to allow MoDOT crews to replace a deteriorating drainpipe underneath the road

Traffic Impacts:

  • Both Route UU lanes CLOSED where crews are working
  • Drivers will have access to driveways at either end of the work zone, but will not be able to travel through the work zone
  • No signed detour
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the work zone
  • Drivers should find alternate route

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
