St. Louis Work Zones for January 28-February 3

ST. LOUIS – Drivers on eastbound Interstate 70 between Hanley and Bermuda should allow extra time at night over the weekend as crews will have two lanes closed for pavement repair work.

Crews will close the far right lane around the clock from 8 p.m. Friday, January 29, until 5 a.m. Monday, February 1, on eastbound I-70 between Hanley and Bermuda. Each night, crews will close a second lane at 8 p.m. That second closed lane will reopen at 8 a.m. Saturday, January 30;, 9 a.m. Sunday, January 31; and 5 a.m. Monday, February 1.

Drivers who use the Ewing Avenue bridge over Interstate 64 in the city of St. Louis should choose alternate routes  before the bridge closes Monday, February 1, and allow themselves extra time for travel.

Crews will close the Ewing Avenue bridge at 9 a.m. February 1 to remove and rebuild the bridge over the interstate. The bridge will be closed for reconstruction for six months.

Detours around the bridge closure will be marked.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-64, St. Louis City, Ewing bridge over the interstate closes 9 a.m. Monday until late July.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles through early 2022.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, two left lanes closed westbound and one left lane closed eastbound between Route 141 and 5th Street until late 2020.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, eastbound I-270 off-ramp to Washington Street/Elizabeth Avenue closed until mid-2021.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, northbound ramp to westbound I-270 closed till mid-2022.

  • I-44, Franklin County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one right lane closed eastbound at Williams Creek.
  • Route 50, Franklin County, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound between Progress Way and I-44 in Franklin County. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.

Friday, January 29

  • I-70, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, one eastbound right lane will be closed between Hanley and Bermuda. A second lane closes between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound near Route 367.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound near Washington/Elizabeth.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., one lane closed eastbound between Lindbergh and I-170.
  • Route F, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., one lane closed from Route D to Route 94. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
  • I-44, Franklin County, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., complete interstate closure for a 15-minute interval between Eureka and Gray Summit.
  • I-44, Franklin County, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., one lane closed eastbound from Pacific to Route OO.
  • Route 50, Franklin County, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound between Progress Way and I-44 in Franklin County. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.

Saturday, January 30

  • I-70, St. Louis County, until 5 a.m. Monday, one eastbound right lane will be closed between Hanley and Bermuda. A second lane closes between 8 p.m. and 9 a.m.

Sunday, January 31

  • I-70, St. Louis County, until 5 a.m. Monday, one eastbound right lane will be closed between Hanley and Bermuda. A second lane closes between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Monday, February 1
