HANNIBAL – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Northeast District projects during an electronic ballot process held on January 6. Awarded contracts include resurfacing, drainage and sidewalk improvement projects located on Route B in Lewis County.
A $1,591,332 contract was awarded to Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. for resurfacing Route B from north of Canton to south of LaGrange at U.S. Route 61 in addition to an ADA improvement project consisting of sidewalk improvements from Henderson Ave. to Montgomery St. in Canton and at South St. in LaGrange.
Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction when scheduling details become available.
