St. Louis Work Zones for December 24 - 30

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Department of Transportation will limit most work zones this weekend to aid travel during the holiday weekend.

Work zones with permanent lane closures (such as eastbound and westbound I-270 in north St. Louis County) will remain in place.  Crews may have to close lanes for short times for priority work for issues that might impact the safety of the driving public.

Crews will close the Ewing Avenue bridge over Interstate 64 in the city of St. Louis starting at 9 a.m. Monday, December 28, to complete work to connect new water mains on either side of the bridge.  The bridge should reopen by the evening rush Thursday, December 31, but the opening may be delayed if inclement weather impacts the work.

For more on roadway closures due to construction, additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real-time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com. All work is subject to change and may be shifted due to inclement weather.
