Utility work to narrow Clinton County Route J beginning tomorrow

SMITHVILLE, Mo – Utility work may cause a delay for traffic on Clinton County Route J beginning tomorrow. Platte-Clay Electric Cooperative will close one lane of Route J between Southwest 220th Street and Southwest Springtown Road beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 2. The lane closure will be in place, weekdays only, through Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones and to not move or drive around barricades.
