Traffic Alert: Sign work will cause ramp/lane closures in the Northland

PLATTE/CLAY COUNTIES – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic changes in the Northland as part of roadway sign upgrade work. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will intermittently close two lanes of westbound Route 350, just east of the on-ramp to I-435 northbound, from 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 until 6:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 for sign work

Crews will intermittently close the ramp and two lanes of eastbound Route 152 at the exit to N. Platte Purchase Dr., from 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 until 6:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 for sign work                                                

Crews will intermittently close the ramp and two lanes of southbound Route 9 at the exit to I-635/69 Highway southbound, from 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 until 6:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20 for sign work

Crews will intermittently close the ramp and two lanes of northbound Route 9 at the exit to N. Oak Trafficway, from 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 until 6:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20 for sign work

 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
