In Springfield up to 30 Days Beginning November 23
What: Eastgate Avenue CLOSING between Chestnut Expressway/Farm Road 132 and Cherry Street in Springfield
When: Starting Monday, November 23 and lasting up to 14 30 days
Why: Contractor crews to build a connection between the existing street and a newly relocated section of Eastgate Avenue. Eastgate Avenue is being relocated further to the east, just south of the Chestnut Expressway intersection.
Traffic Impacts:
- Eastgate Avenue CLOSED between Chestnut Expressway/Farm Road 132 and Cherry Street in Springfield
- No signed detour
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the work zone
- Drivers should find alternate route
