TRAFFIC ALER: Route 160 CLOSED at BNSF Railroad north of Golden City for crossing repairs Nov. 5-6

Where: U.S. Route 160 at Burlington Northern/Santa Fe Railroad crossing north of Golden City in Barton County

When: 8 a.m. Thursday through 4 p.m. Friday, November 5-6

What: Railroad crews making crossing repairs

Traffic Impacts:

  • All lanes of Route 160 CLOSED at railroad crossing
  • Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances on either side of the work zone, but will not be able to travel across the railroad
  • No signed detour, drivers should find alternate routes
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zone

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
