ST. LOUIS – Drivers who travel from northbound Interstate 55 to westbound Interstate 44 should consider alternate routes, or be prepared for delays, as crews will close the ramp starting November 7.
Crews will close the ramp for a week, starting at 7 a.m. Saturday, November 7. During the closure, crews will be replacing median barrier wall along the ramp.
Drivers can use Truman and Lafayette to detour from northbound I-55 to westbound I-44.
On Saturday, November 7, crews will also open the ramp from Lafayette to westbound I-44, and will open another lane on westbound I-44. That will mean drivers will have two westbound lanes until Lafayette and three westbound lanes after Lafayette.
All work is weather permitting.
