MoDOT hosts virtual public hearing for Route 61/67 from Route 231 to Richardson Road Project

JEFFERSON COUNTY- The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold an open-house virtual public hearing on Thursday, November 12 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Webex.

If you would like to learn more about the Route 61/67 from Route 231 to Richardson Road Improvement Project and leave a comment or question concerning the project, this is a great opportunity.

The purpose of this project is to improve safety on Route 61/67 from Route 231 to Richardson Road in Jefferson County by installing a Two Way Left Turn Lane (TWLTL).  By adding this lane, the lane will improve safety and reduce the number of crashes, as well as help overall traffic flow on Route 61/67.

A comment form is currently available on MoDOT’s webpage https://www.modot.org/route-6167-route-231-richardson-road-improvements. The direct link to the Route 61/67 Survey can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NSMBKSP. The form will be available from now until 4 p.m. on November 30, 2020. Our staff will review your questions and concerns, significant comments will be receiving responses from our MoDOT staff.

There will be no formal presentations during the hearing. The public may log in or dial in anytime during the open house style virtual public hearing.
