St. Louis Work Zones for October 29 - November 4

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who regularly use the ramp from northbound I-270 to eastbound I-44 will need to determine an alternate route during the next week, or allow themselves extra time to travel.

Crews will close the northbound I-270 ramp to eastbound I-44 at 6 a.m. Saturday, October 31 to set girders for the bridge from eastbound I-44 to eastbound Watson Road.  The ramp will reopen by 6 p.m. 

In addition, crews are anticipating closing the same ramp at 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 4 .  The ramp will reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday, November 5.

            Next week, crews will begin to return the eastbound and westbound directions of I-70 back on their respective bridges.

            Drivers can expect the following closures during the next two weeks.

  • Monday, November 2 and Tuesday, November 3, the eastbound bridge and on-ramp to Fifth Street closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Friday, November 6, the eastbound bridge and on-ramp to Fifth Street will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, November 6 to early Monday, November 9. By Monday morning, all eastbound traffic will be back on eastbound bridge and eastbound I-70 lanes will no longer be split.
  • Monday, November 9 through Wednesday, November 11, various lanes closed westbound as temporary barrier is removed.

Monday, November 9 through Sunday, November 15, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., two eastbound lanes closed, three eastbound lanes open to traffic.

  • I-44, St. Louis City, Lafayette ramp to westbound I-44 closed until mid-November.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, Jefferson ramp to eastbound I-44/southbound I-55 closed through fall 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one left lane closed Grand to Lafayette until late 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, two left lanes closed Jefferson to Nebraska until late 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one left lane closed Nebraska to Grand until late 2020.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, access from the northbound I-55 ramp to Jefferson closed until late 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles through early 2022.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, two left lanes closed westbound and one left lane closed eastbound between Route 141 and 5th Street until late 2020.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, eastbound I-270 off-ramp to Washington Street/Elizabeth Avenue closed until mid-2021.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, westbound I-270 entrance ramp at Bellefontaine closed until November 2020.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, northbound ramp to westbound I-270 closed till mid-2022.
  • Route 366, St. Louis County, the ramp from southbound I-270 and eastbound I-44 to eastbound Route 366 will be closed through late fall.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the ramp from Fairgrounds to eastbound I-70 is closed until late 2020.
  • Route K, St. Charles County, one lane closed weekdays at East Terra Lane from Sonderen to Route K until October.

  • Route F, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., one lane closed in each direction from Route D to Route 94. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
  • I-44, Franklin County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound between Route 100 and Route 30.
  • I-44, Franklin County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed in various locations on the business loop for a moving operation.
  • Route 50, Franklin County, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., one lane closed in each direction at Route EE. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
  • Route 100, Franklin County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on Boeuf Creek. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
  • Route 109, Jefferson County, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound at Route W&F. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.

  • Route 109, Jefferson County, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound at Route W&F. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
