SUMNER, Mo. – Railroad crews plan to close Route YY south of Kaye Road next week to complete repairs at the Brookfield Sub railroad crossing. The road will close between Kaye Road and Norfolk Road on Monday, Oct. 26, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.
All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change. Motorists are urged to stay alert and pay attention to all roadway signing and barricades and to eliminate distractions. Please remember all roads are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive alive.
