MACON - Weather permitting, Oct. 28-29, MoDOT crews will be performing bridge maintenance on U.S. Route 36 westbound in Macon County. The road will be down to one lane traffic near the Middle Fork Salt River Bridge, located betweeen Business 36 and Macon County Route K. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph and there will be a 15 ft. width restriction in place while the work is completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.
Motorists will need to use caution if traveling through this area. Remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
