St. Louis Work Zones for October 15-21

ST. LOUIS – Motorists who regularly use I-270 in North St. Louis County should be aware that the Missouri Department of Transportation will close all eastbound I-270 lanes at Washington/Elizabeth nightly beginning Thursday.

The closures will allow workers to set beams (girders) in place that will support the bridge deck.

The nightly closures are scheduled Thursday, October 15 through Saturday, October 17 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.

In addition, westbound I-270 traffic will be reduced to a single lane with 15-20-minute intermittent closures, as crews set girders overhead.

Drivers can use Pershall Road as a detour.

For more on roadway closures due to construction, additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real-time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com. All work is subject to change and may be shifted due to inclement weather.
