HOWARD COUNTY – The replacement of culvert pipes will require lane closures on two routes in Howard County next week.
Missouri Department of Transportation crews will close one lane of Route 3 between Route JJ and County Road 215, Route 5/240 between Route FF and County Road 209, and Route 87 between Route 187 and County Road 316. The work at each location will begin on Tuesday, October 13. Lane closures will be required between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day. These improvements are scheduled to be complete by Friday, October 23.
Flaggers will be in place at each area to guide motorists through the work zones. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route around the work areas or expect minor delays.
MoDOT says they appreciate the patience of travelers while this work takes place.
The work is weather permitting and could be delayed. For more information about this project or other transportation-related matters, please call 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636) or visit www.modot.org/central. Follow the MoDOT Central Missouri District on Facebook and Twitter for project updates.
