ST. LOUIS – Drivers who travel on Interstate 44 near the Poplar Street will need to consider different routes later this week as crews will close lanes on the roadway, including a ramp from the Poplar Street Bridge for concrete repair.
All work is weather permitting.
Crews will close up to two lanes on eastbound I-44 near Walnut Street starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 8. The ramp to Walnut will also close at 7 p.m. The lanes, and the ramp, will reopen by 5 a.m. Friday.
Crews will close the ramp from westbound I-64 at the Mississippi River (the Poplar Street Bridge) to westbound I-44 and southbound I-55 starting at 8 p.m. Friday, October 9. The lanes are scheduled to reopen by 8 a.m. Saturday,
