Help Wanted: MoDOT KC looking to hire 50 Maintenance Workers

Kansas City – The Missouri Department of Transportation is once again gearing up for winter operations and hopes to beef up its workforce by hiring at least 50 new full-time maintenance equipment operators in the Kansas City District.

 

The district is responsible for nine counties and 7,670 lane miles, which is why it is important MoDOT has plenty of capable and dependable personnel. These positions are vital for keeping Missouri motorists moving during the winter season and beyond.

 

Salaries range from $14.10 to $16.10 per hour, depending on the level of experience and area of operation. Full-time employees will receive training and other benefits including retirement, paid leave, medical, vision and dental insurance.

 

MoDOT requires maintenance worker applicants to be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening.
