SIKESTON - Various, short sections of Route 53 in Dunklin County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
Improvements will be completed in the following locations along Route 53:
- from County Road 215 to County Road 206
- from County Road 322 to County Road 332
Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Oct. 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near these areas.
